Have producers of ABC's "The View" found their second new co-host to join Whoopi Goldberg? According to E! News Senator John McCain's daughter, Meghan McCain, is reportedly negotiating a deal to join the Season 18 cast.

Currently the 29-year-old is still under contract as host of "Take Part Live" on Pivot but has made several appearances on "The View." McCain joins rumored newbie Rosie O'Donnell. ABC is refusing to comment on the casting rumors but several sources have confirmed to various media outlets that the comedienne "is absolutely in progress" to return to the show.

According to Page Six, O'Donnell was offered a "one-year, seven-figure deal." There have been rumors that the "A League of Their Own" actress is already making demands and does not want a reality star to land the co-hosting gig. Reportedly there is a stipulation in O'Donnell's contract that says she has to approve of the new potential co-host.

E! reports that "Sex and The City" star Mario Cantone is also rumored to join as a new co-host. Sarah Palin's name also been tossed around after she said during an interview that she thinks it would "so much fun to shake it up taking on issues that make audiences objectively consider all sides."

It was also rumored that Ross Mathews could land a spot at the table, and a source told TMZ that Abby Huntsman and Margaret Hoover are also being considered. O'Donnell co-hosted "The View" back in 2007 but ended her contract early after  getting into a nasty fight with Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who currently works for "Fox & Friends."
