For a second day in a row, visitors are waiting up to five hours to get on a new Harry Potter ride at Universal Orlando Resort in Florida, according to Reuters.

A sign at the entrance to the ride, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, at midday Wednesday said the wait would be 300 minutes, Reuters reported.

Some visitors, like Juan Sigler and his family from Pembroke Pines, Florida, say the ride is worth the wait, according to Reuters. They say they felt immersed in Harry Potter's world.

The Diagon Alley expansion is connected to the Hogsmeade attraction by the new Hogwarts Express, a four-minute train ride based on a magical locomotive in the series, Reuters reported.

Others like Jason Phillips and his family from Baton Rouge say no ride is worth that long a wait, Reuters reported. They had to board the ride three different times Wednesday morning since it stopped twice because of technical glitches.

Universal typically does not release admission figures, but the wait time for the attraction's new signature ride, "Escape from Gringotts," was as long as six hours, according to local media reports, according to Reuters.

"If we could give it a standing ovation, we would," Nikida Vaughn of Florida told the Orlando Sentinel after experiencing the interactive roller coaster, Reuters reported.

The opening of Diagon Alley is expected to provide a boost to the theme park's revenues and to tourism in central Florida, according to Reuters. Heavily geared to shopping and eating, Diagon Alley guests can purchase collectible souvenirs, such as interactive wands that trigger special effects within the park.

Visitors can dine on traditional British dishes and purchase the popular butterbeer featured in the series, as well as try new drinks called Fishy Green Ale and Tongue Tying Lemon Squash, Reuters reported.

The Potter-themed areas are in two adjoining Universal parks, each of which requires a separate admission, Reuters reported. A ride on the train requires a $136 two-park pass.
