George R.R. Martin doesn't take kindly to assumptions he won't finish his "A Song of Fire and Ice" saga.

During an interview with Swiss newspaper Tagesanzeiger, the 65-year-old writer had two words to those who claim he would die before finishing his seventh novel.

"I find that question pretty offensive, people speculating about my death and my health.  I say f*ck you to those people," Martin said.

The sixth installment of "A Song of Fire and Ice" saga is called "The Winds of Winter."  Martin recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the upcoming novel.

"I think we're gonna start out with a big smash with the two enormous battles," Martin told EW, adding, "We have more deaths, and we have more betrayals. We have more marriages."

Martin also revealed Daenerys Targaryen and Tyrion Lannister will finally meet in the sixth book.  The writer assured Daenerys' time in Meereen is coming to an end.

"Well, Tyrion and Dany will intersect, in a way, but for much of the book they're still apart," Martin said. "They both have quite large roles to play here. Tyrion has decided that he actually would like to live, for one thing, which he wasn't entirely sure of during the last book, and he's now working toward that end-if he can survive the battle that's breaking out all around him. And Dany has embraced her heritage as a Targaryen and embraced the Targaryen words. So they're both coming home."

Martin did not comment whether he would finish the novels before the HBO series ends.  However, "The World of Ice and Fire: The Untold History of Westeros and the World of Game of Thrones" will be released in October.  Martin has yet to announce the release date for "Winds of Winter."
