Jason Momoa continued to play coy about "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" casting rumors, but did reveal he thoughts about playing a superhero.

Momoa attended the Evolution Expo in Oakland, Calif., where he spoke to a panel audience. The actor is best known for his role Khal Drogo in "Game of Thrones," but rumors surfaced claiming Momoa has officially signed on to play Aquaman in "Batman vs. Superman."

An audience member asked Momoa if he was taking on the role and the actor 's response hinted at wanting to play an anti-hero.

"I think it would be really, really fun to play a superhero," Momoa said. "You know? I've always talked about, like, what's your favorite. I mean I love Lobo so... but ah... You know. It would be awesome. I don't know how they do it but... Yea, absolutely I think it would...I just don't really see myself as a superhero.

"Yeah, no I mean, they're kind of written a little different. I don't know. I just... you know. I'm not wearing a lot of the...I don't see myself in tights a lot. And ah...I'm more of a, I don't know, an anti-hero if you will. In life. So, not the smiling, parading to saving the world kind of guy. Yeah, the Hulk would have been fun!"

Momoa won't comment about his connection to "Batman vs. Superman," but filmmaker Kevin Smith has offered his take on the "Game of Thrones" actor's possible casting.

"Well, I think most people of course when they think of f****** Aquaman, they think of the traditional cartoon version, but the current version or incarnation is he's a badass king of the seven seas, a warlord to some degree. So I could see where they would get away with casting [Momoa]," Smith said during a "Hollywood Babble-On" podcast.

"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be released to theaters on May 6, 2016.
