The mother of a 22-month-old toddler who died after his father allegedly left him in a hot car for seven hours confessed to having researched child deaths in hot cars, according to new documents from police. Her husband, Justin Harris, had revealed earlier of doing the same in documents released after the toddler's funeral was held in University Church of Christ in Tuscaloosa, Ala. on Saturday.

Harris, of Marietta, has been accused of Cooper's murder and is being held without bail in Cobb County, Ga., ABC News reported. According to police warrants released Saturday, 33-year-old Harris told police that he searched child deaths inside vehicles and "what temperature it needs to be for that to occur" because he "was fearful that this could happen."

Now, newly released warrants state that Leanna Harris told police she did the same exact thing. "Leanna Harris, the child's mother was also questioned regarding the incident and made similar statements regarding researching in car deaths and how it occurs," read the warrant. However, she has still not been taken into custody or listed as a suspect by police.

Addressing mourners Saturday at Cooper's funeral, Justin and Leanna spoke to the public for the first time, with Justin speaking via speaker phone from the Cobb County Jail to thank those who have supported him, according to ABC News affiliate WSB-TV in Atlanta. Leanna called her husband a "great father."

He has pleaded not guilty to the charges of felony murder and child cruelty in the first degree.

On June 18, Harris was supposed to drop his toddler, identified in reports as Cooper, at a daycare center around 9 a.m. on his way to work. But Harris drove straight to work, apparently forgetting that his son was strapped in his car seat in the back of the vehicle, Cobb County Police spokesman Dana Pierce said. It wasn't until Harris was driving back home at 4 p.m., that he noticed Cooper's lifeless body in the back seat. Cooper was pronounced dead after emergency personnel arrived.

After police executed a search warrant in his office and home, he was arrested. According to The Associated Press, police also determined that Harris returned to his car at some point during the day and put something inside.
