Miami Heat stars LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh reportedly all met on Wednesday to discuss free agency.  Perhaps inspired by one of James's tweets, Heat president Pat Riley is supposedly targeting Shabazz Napier in the 2014 NBA draft.

Prior to deciding to opt out of his contract earlier in the week, James told reporters he, Wade and Bosh would all meet in the offseason to discuss their options going forward.  That meeting took place on Wednesday, according to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.

The trio famously met in the summer of 2010 before deciding to join forces in Miami.  Possible scenarios discussed in Wednesday's meeting include everybody splitting up, everybody opting in and delaying free agency a little longer or everybody opting out and re-signing to take even lower pay cuts to make room for soon-to-be free agent Carmelo Anthony.

While the Big 3's future together in Miami is uncertain, Riley reportedly is considering drafting Napier on Thursday to reinforce the Heat's backcourt and perhaps to lure James in to staying.

ESPN's Chad Ford reported Riley likes Napier and has already personally worked out the former UConn point guard.

The Heat, though, own the No. 26 pick of the draft and most analysts believe Napier will be off the draft board long before Miami gets the chance to pick.  While trading up is usually an option, the Heat have virtually no assets to offer teams besides their future picks.

If Miami were to land Napier, however, it could go a long way toward convincing James to stay in South Beach.  The four-time MVP tweeted during the NCAA title game that no other point guard in the draft was better than Napier, indicating he was a fan of the NBA prospect.
