Jon Stewart, host of the Daily Show, and his correspondent Jason Jones sat down with famous Google Glass Explorers and mocked them for wearing the gadget.

On Thursday Night, the American late-night satirical TV program featured six Google Glass wearers from the United States. Each of them was given a chance to tell a story of discrimination brought by their decision to wear the Google Glass. Some stated that they were mistreated and assaulted for simply wearing the gadget.

What seemed to be an innocent sharing of stories quickly turned into a heckling fiasco. In a segment, Jones met with Cecilia Abadie, an Explorer who managed to fight off a driving ticket given to her while she was driving; Nick Starr, a man who was refused service in a restaurant in Seattle; and Sarah Slocum, who was mistreated at a San Francisco bar. After their stories were told, Jones, quoted by CNET, said,

"Hold on a second. What the f*** have you all got on your faces?"

At that point, the Explorers tried to explain the benefits of using the Google Glass but Jones asked them, "Do you guys hear yourselves when you talk?"

Slocum told Jones that the Google Glass would be the next big thing, and everyone would likely wear it within a year. Starr, on the other hand, explained to the host that Google Glasses are better than phones because it enables the wearers to keep his companions in the "here and now."

Moreover, the show's guests argued that wearing Google Glass was way less insulting than those who stare down their cell phones during conversations. Although the Explorers might have known that they were going to be ridiculed, the segment featured more of the show's self-righteousness than its humor.

Also, it could be possible that the Explorers thought that the show could be a good publicity stunt for Google. But, now they know that they got it wrong.
