Forty-four-year-old Jacqueline Walters Danforth was arrested for suspicion of a DUI in Florida.

According to a police report obtained by OMG! Yahoo, Danforth was released on a $1,000 bail after being issued a citation for DUI.

Yahoo reports that Danforth allegedly grabbed one of the arresting officers, shouting at him when he handcuffed her boyfriend.

"I was afraid that the suspect may run into traffic on the highway, so she was taken to the ground due to her unpredictable behavior, then secured in handcuffs," the arresting officer told TMZ.

When Danforth finally consented to a breathalyzer test after arriving at jail, it read .218 which is twice the legal limit.

Walters has remained silent about the incident.  Danforth has spoken in the past about her troubled past with substance abuse and even sat down for interviews with her mother. Walters adopted Danforth in 1968 with Lee Guber, her husband at the time.

According to the Daily Mail, the police report claims this is the first offense for Danforth as an adult. With the help of Walters, Danforth was able to clean her act up and get herself together.

During her teenage years, Danforth ran away from home. Walters, who hadn't spoken to her daughter in a month after running away, decided to send an ex-Green Beret to fetch her daughter and bring her to an intervention program.

After three years in the program, Danforth received her high school diploma. She wanted to help young women going through similar situations and started a self-discovery program called New Horizons for Young Women, which combined outdoor living with clinical therapy. The concept was similar to the program she attended but was shut down in 2008.
