Comedian Tracy Morgan is still in critical condition following a fatal car accident on the New Jersey Turnpike on Saturday, June 7. The 45-year-old star and several other people were traveling in a limo bus when a semi-trailer struck the back of the bus causing it to spin out of control and flip over.

Morgan was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J. Recently his rep addressed the comedian's condition telling the New York Daily News that Morgan has not lost his leg despite reports that it had to be amputated.

"Rumors about amputating his leg are completely fabricated," Morgan's publicist told the Daily News. "Tracy had surgery on his broken leg."

His rep said the "30 Rock" actor was still in "critical but stable condition" and he is expected to remain hospitalized for several more weeks.

"His fiancée Megan [Wollover] is by his side," the rep said, adding that Morgan's recovery will be "arduous."

Media Take Out ran a report claiming that a nurse at the hospital said that Morgan's leg was in bad shape but the comedian did not want to have it amputated.

"[Tracy's] leg is in very bad condition. He has fractured ribs as well as internal bleeding in his abdomen. [While] amputation is an option, he is opting to [keep his leg and] deal with the partial paralysis," the source told MTO. "But with physical therapy he [could] regain feeling. However nothing is for certain."

According to Fox News, Morgan also suffered a broken femur, a broken nose and several broken ribs. Two other passengers remain in critical condition and 62-year-old comedian James "Jimmy Mack" McNair was killed in the accident.

The Walmart truck driver, Kevin Roper, was charged with death by auto and four counts of assault by auto. According to a criminal complaint, Roper had not slept "for a period in excess of 24 hours" before the accident.
