Kendall Jenner has a whopping 7.99 million followers on Twitter but reportedly at least half of them are fake. According to In Touch magazine, the 18-year-old model and reality star reportedly bought a large chunk of her Twitter friends.

The magazine said they ran Jenner's Twitter account through a site called StatusPeople.com and it determined that 4.6 million of her followers are "fake" or have been deactivated.

"Kendall and her sisters have bought a good amount of their followers," a source close to the family told the magazine.

A second source claims that the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star is paid around $1,000 per tweet if she mentions an advertiser and their product.

"She knows the more followers she has, the more she'll get paid to tweet," the source said.

She isn't the only one being accused of faking her Twitter followers. Back in 2012, Forbes claimed that Kim Kardashian also had a few fake online fans. The magazine said they used the same website and it determined that only 41 percent of Kardashian's followers on Twitter were real and active.

In other news, it was reported that Kendall just purchased her first apartment: a $1.4 million luxury condo in Los Angeles. According to TMZ, she is now the owner of a 2-bedroom, 2.5 bath high-rise condo near Westwood, Calif.

The site said she paid a reported $1,399,000 for it and got a $910,000 mortgage. Reportedly, the model purchased the condo herself but Kris Jenner is listed on the documents. TMZ reports that the building comes with a 24-hour valet, a concierge and doorman, fitness center, a heated pool, catering kitchen, card room, social room and a wine storage.

It's not clear how soon Jenner plans on leaving her mother's house and moving into her new condo.
