If you've ever watch an episode of "Arrow," you can recall seeing Oliver Queen performing such interesting stunts like parkour and salmon ladder pull up and one could only imagine how much energy and strength it takes to do just that.

"I am taking some off. I wanted to lose a little weight," Stephen Amell, told US Weekly during CW Upfronts last week. "I felt a little muscly in the first season, so I'm taking a little time off. We start again pretty soon, so I'll gear back up."

Amell's co-star Colton Haynes, who plays Jackson Whittemore, will be returning to the series next season as a series regular. Haynes knows he'll spend the next season shirtless and revealed that he "used to do a lot of yoga, but I tend to lose a lot of weight when I do that. Now I'm just trying to lift as many weights as I can."

Haynes, who plays Roy Harper, is known to be Oliver Queen's sidekick. When asked whether or not we will see the two pair up, Haynes told the magazine "I think that's obviously where it's heading. Whether or not that's going to happen right away, I'm not quite sure. I think they're toying with the idea of making him wait a bit."

"Based on comic lore, there's a path for him there," the 32-year old actor said. "But one of the things we try to honor on the show is that it took Oliver five years [being stranded on an island and training to become a hero]. That doesn't mean that it has to take Roy five years, but you have to go through something. If we just strapped up and put on a hood and went for it, that wouldn't be true to the show. He's going to have to go through something."

The season finale left many of us shocked when Tommy Merlyn played by Colin Donnell died when he rescued former girlfriend, Laurel Lance played by Katie Cassidy. The show, which is considered CW's breakout hit, will be returning this fall for their second season.
