The successor to Nokia X, the X2,  has been revealed on AnTuTu along with a few detailed specifications.

Nokia, one of the renowned mobile manufacturing companies, has not been quite successful in keeping its upcoming Android-based smartphone a secret. The  Nokia X successor has just made an appearance on AnTuTu, revealing upgraded specs from its predecessor and a new name, Nokia X2. If true, the new smartphone will be the latest entry to the trio of Nokia X smartphones showcased at the Mobile World Congress 2014.

The alleged listing on the benchmark site, spotted by GforGames, reveals some of the rumored specifications including a new home button on the X-series. As for the other technical features, Nokia fans will be treated with some upgrades. The Nokia X2 will come with 1GB RAM, which is an upgrade from the 512MB RAM found on the Nokia X and 768MB on the Nokia X+. The listing also claims an inbuilt storage of 4GB and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 MSM8210 chip with Adreno 305 GPU to power the smartphone, clocking speeds at 1.2GHz.

Other details disclosed in the AnTuTu listing include a 4.3-inch display with a screen resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The Nokia X2 will also feature a 5-megapixel rear camera, upgraded from 3MP found on the Nokia X and a 0.3 MP front facing camera, which is a new entry. The smartphone will be based on heavily customized Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

While the upgraded specs do come as a big surprise, the most anticipated dual-boot OS is sure to attract a lot of buyers. The dual-boot feature in Nokia X2 got a heads up from senior editor at MyNokiaBlog and UnleashThePhones, Michael Faro-Tusino. He updated his Twitter account with the exciting news.

"The Nokia X2 is going to dual boot Windows Phone & Android and have Google Play Services." https://t.co/4xRPquAI9L

This means the Nokia X2 will likely run both Android and Windows Phone and feature Google Play Store for access to millions and millions of apps and games, Ubergizmo reports. But the chances of actually seeing such integration are slim, considering there has been no official word on the subject from Nokia directly. Moreover, the tweeted image by Faro-Tusino was a repost from Secret.
