"I did the vegan 22-day plan and it was really good and I kept on with it for a few more weeks and now I've incorporated a little bit of fish here and there," Lopez said. "But I've got to tell you I enjoy it. I enjoy eating that way. I never did. And I didn't know how good you can feel when you put healthy stuff in your body."

The mother of two twins, Max and Emme, recommended the vegan diet to everyone, adding that her overall health improved since starting the diet .

"I've got to tell you I enjoy it," she told Seacrest. "I enjoy eating that way. I never did. And I didn't know how good you can feel when you put healthy stuff in your body."

In an interview with New York radio station Z100, Lopez said: ''Being vegan, it's basically no diary, no meat, everything is plant-based and from the ground. Butter is the one thing I miss!''

In December, Beyoncé and Jay Z took on the 22-day vegan diet challenge - eliminating meat and animal products from their diets. The rapper explained his decision to begin his 22-day diet on his blog, Life + Times.

"On December 3, one day before my 44th birthday, I will embark on a 22 Day challenge to go completely vegan, or as I prefer to call it, plant-based!" The music mogul wrote. "This all began a few months back when a good friend and vegan challenged me to embrace a 'plant-based breakfast' every day. It was surprisingly easier on me than I thought."

The rapper added: "Psychologists have said it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. On the 22nd day, you've found the way."
