Ciara is a mom! The 28-year-old "Body Party" singer and rapper Future welcomed their son on May 19 at a Los Angeles hospital, US Weekly reports. The engaged couple named their baby boy Future Zahir Wilburn.

Ciara announced the birth on her Facebook page telling fans that baby Future weighed 9 pounds, 10 ounces. She also included a photo of her son; a snapshot of his chubby little arm.

"In Love With My @angelsonghome Gilding Chair, and My @BrattDecor Baby Crib For My Little Prince," she wrote on Instagram, including a picture of the baby's all-white nursery. "This Is All Surreal. Everything About This Time And Process... Wow!!:)"

Back in April, he singer told US Weekly that she had a "very easy" pregnancy.

"I feel great," she said. "I didn't even know what to expect, but it's been a very easy process, and it's been so much fun. Honestly, it's been the coolest experience in my life! Besides getting engaged which happened last year, this has been pretty awesome. Being able to know that I can do that is such a blessing. I'm literally obsessed with kids, so I'm excited about being able to have my own to obsess over."

Ciara, who first announced her baby news on ABC's "The View" back in January, also gushed about the process to W Magazine revealing that her pal Kim Kardashian had been sharing parenting advice. Kardashian gave birth to her first child, a daughter named North, in June.

"You don't know your child until they get here, you don't know their personality. There's a lot of learning to do. I loved that advice," Ciara told the magazine.

She also said she wanted to get back in shape soon after giving birth.

"As soon as the body says hit the gym, I'm gonna hit the gym. I've been having a lot of food fun," Ciara said.
