"Pitch Perfect 2" will feature a star-studded cast.

Entertainment Weekly reported that "Sons of Anarchy," actress Katey Sagal has joined the cast of "Pitch Perfect 2," the sequel to 2012's music-themed comedy. Sagal will play the mother of Hailee Steinfeld, who is also a new addition to the cast. The actress is currently on tour with her band in support of her latest CD, "Covered".

"The fantastic Katey Sagal has joined our #PitchPerfect 2 fam as Hailee Steinfeld's mom. Are we fangirling yet?" Elizabeth Banks, who co-starred and produced the first film and is directing "Pitch Perfect 2," confirmed on her blog.

"I was on as producer for the first film and have been with the movie since its inception, so this next time around I'm just taking on a lot more responsibility," Banks told Huffington Post Entertainment. "I still want to bring as much laughter and humor and joyfulness and great music to the franchise that I can."

Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and Brittany Snow are set to reprise their roles from the original "Pitch Perfect," according to Variety. "Workaholics" actor Adam DeVine will also reprise his role of Bumper Allen in upcoming film.

"I'm really excited to direct the girls," she said. "The whole project speaks so much to me and to women and to making women funny in really fun and interesting ways and that's what I'm most looking forward to. I'm looking forward to letting the girls let loose."

"Pitch Perfect," raked in $118 million at the box office in 2012 - $65 million from domestic audiences and another $48 million overseas, according to Box Office Mojo.

"Pitch Perfect 2" is set for a 2015 release.
