After its unexpected removal, Flappy Bird is coming back in August.

According to The Telegraph, more than one user will be able to play the popular app at one time, straying from the game's previous, single-player version.

One Flappy Bird addict posted in the App Store review section that he was experiencing withdrawls from the game, which went viral shortly after it first dropped earlier this year.

"I haven't slept. I used to sleep like a baby. Now I can't," the individual said, according to The Telegraph. "I lie in bed, I can hear Flappy Bird taunting me to try and beat my score again. When I close my eyes I see Flappy Bird. I haven't eaten. I see Flappy Bird in the food on my plate. I hear him in the voices of those I love."

Creator Dong Nguyen removed the game from the app store on Feb 9, 2014, after finding it was too much to handle.

"Flappy Bird was designed to play in a few minutes when you are relaxed," Nguyen told Forbes at the time. "But it happened to become an addictive product. I think it has become a problem. To solve that problem, it's best to take down Flappy Bird. It's gone forever," Nguyen told Forbes.

Nguyen broke the news on his Twitter account.

"I cannot take this anymore," Nguyen said in the post.

Nguyen later told Forbes he felt his decision was the best option for him at the time.

"I have thought it through," Nguyen said. "After the success of Flappy Bird, I feel more confident and I have freedom to do what I want to do."

Nguyen told The Verge he was hesitant to add anything to the game, for fear it might ruin its good quality.

"Flappy Bird has reached a state where anything added to the game will ruin it somehow, so I'd like to leave it as is," Nguyen said. "I will think about a sequel, but I'm not sure about the timeline."

Over 50 million people downloaded the app.
