Google has opened up to a new trio of "Glassware" to entice travelers with TripIT, Foursquare and OpenTable apps.

Google, the world's biggest internet search company, never stops expanding its app portfolio and it proves it by adding three new Glass apps, which the company generally refers to as Glassware. The latest additions are targeted towards travelers, so the computer tech eyewear can be used to access services offered by renowned travel-related apps, TripIT, Foursquare and OpenTable. The news comes just a day after the web giant announced the Glass availability to anyone in the U.S. for the second time, as a part of the Explorer program.

The new Glass apps are a welcome to the existing Glassware portfolio, which includes apps like Word Lens and Google's own Field Trip. With the latest integration, Google is making traveling simpler than it already is. TripIt, for instance, adds live cards with all the travel information to the timeline, so users needn't open the app to see the required information.

"With TripIt, we're always thinking about how traveling should work in pursuit of 'The Perfect Trip.' Imagine being able to simultaneously enjoy a cup of coffee, carry your luggage through the airport and stay informed of changes. All your flight status updates are presented in plain view, freeing up your hands and making it easier to stay engaged with the world around you," Rich Adams, company's mobile head, said in a press release, Thursday.

The announcement was first made on Google+ page, where the web giant is encouraging Explorers to share photos and videos recorded while aboard with the hashtag #travelthroughglass.

Foursquare support for Google Glass allows users to check in to a location by swiping through a list of nearby locations. It appears the app was in development even before the company split its core app into two separate ones, Swarm and Foursquare.

Google also integrated the ability to browse and make reservations through OpenTable. Glass owners can simply say "Okay Glass, make a reservation" and the app will display a list of nearby restaurants for making a reservation. Users can also change the reservations with some swipes and taps.
