Sherri Shepherd has filed for divorce just days after her husband of nearly three years, Lamar Sally, submitted his own separation documents.

Us Weekly reported that the 47-year-old TV personality filed her own divorce documents in New Jerseyy, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason behind the separation. Shepherd's filling comes less than two weeks after Sally filed for legal separation on May 2 in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Sally, who works as a television writer, also cited irreconcilable differences as his reason for divorce. Shepherd and Sally tied the knot Aug. 13, 2011, in Chicago, but they have no children together.

However, Shepherd and Sally are expecting a child together via surrogate this July. Shepherd reportedly did not mention the unborn child in her legal documents, but according to court papers, Sally is asking for full legal and physical custody of the unborn baby and requesting the court give documents to "prevent [Shepherd] from interfering with his ability to take the kid with him after the birth."

Sally, who has no children of his own, will grant Shepherd visitation rights, but is asking a judge for spousal support and for his and Shepherd's prenuptial agreement to be voided because of fraud. Shepherd is looking for the prenuptial agreement to be enforced.

According to TMZ, the prenuptial agreement stated that if the marriage between Sally and Shepherd lasted between two and five years, Sally would get $60,000.

Shepherd is the mother of nine-year-old Jeffrey with ex-husband Jeff Tarpley. A source told TMZ that Shepherd was frustrated because Sally was being "lazy" about stepping up as a father figure, and they he "sat around the house all day doing nothing."

"Everyone is in shock," a source told Us Weekly about the couple's recent split. "He stopped coming around. She really kept everything quiet. The baby is not something she was ready to discuss at all. She had to have known things weren't going well with Sal so didn't want to say anything."
