Amazon is reportedly working on its first full-touch smartphone and has already created a graphic design of the supposed handset as shown in the latest press renders.

Amazon's long-rumored Android smartphone is getting more attention than ever, especially with more information being leaked by media sources in recent months. While most details about the upcoming handset show impressive integrations with Amazon services, 3D sensing feature and unique UI, the latest press render gives a closer look at the design of the Amazon smartphone. The product designs, published by BGR on Thursday, are reportedly created by the company's graphic designers.

By the looks of the handset, Amazon smartphone will not look any different than a usual smartphone in the market. The image shows both front and the back design of the handset, which features a full touch screen display, earpiece and a single home button at the bottom. On a closer look, the left side of the smartphone carries a SIM card tray and three buttons, presumably for volume and mute or lock functions.

The rear side of the handset bears a distinct logo of Amazon and at the bottom are two grilles, which appear to be microphone input and speaker output. The two grilles are separated by a micro USB slot for charging the handset and connecting to a PC. The camera and flash is placed on the top right hand corner, similar to the one found on iPhone but on the opposite side.

The Amazon smartphone has already made headlines for its timely leaked details. BGR had earlier reported that the smartphone will feature unique 3D effects and gesture controls, which will make it unique in the overly-crowded smartphone market. It is also believed that the handset will carry six cameras, as the additional four cameras will be for 3D sensing in the phone. Other basic specs include a 4.7-inch display with 720p resolution, 2GB RAM, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a Kindle-like customized Android OS for operations.

The online retail giant has stayed mum on the subject, but several sources and a Wall Street Journal report from last month suggests that the launch of the first Amazon smartphone will be sometime during the third quarter in September this year.
