It's a boy for husband-and-wife-to-be actors Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis.

E! News reported that the couple, who have been dating since September 2011, welcomed their son Otis Alexander on Sunday. They announced the arrival of their first child on Wednesday afternoon via Twitter.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Otis Alexander Sudeikis has LEFT the building! (I'm the building)," the 30-year-old actress tweeted along with a close-up, black-and-white photo of the baby's head pressed against her cheek.

No further details about the birth were provided. At the 2014 Golden Globes in January, Wilde revealed to Ryan Seacrest, that that her son's due date was May 4.

The 29-year-old actress has been open about her pregnancy, sharing details about the baby's gender and showing off her baby bump fashion on the red carpet. Wilde also posted several pictures of her baby bump on Instagram.

Wilde and the former "Saturday Night Live" star announced their engagement last year and revealed in October that they were expecting their first child together. She told Lucky magazine that she first wanted to hide her growing belly, but then changed her mind.

"I just thought, 'Oh I'm going to hide this forever,'" she said in the May issue. "But I ended up getting kind of excited to show the bump, as a badge of pride... Like I'm a woman! Look at me making a human! I am a goddess!"

Wilde added: "Pregnancy does shed away all of the bulls--t. It gives you more empathy because you look at everyone and you think, 'You were a baby!' It also makes you feel closer to other females. Pregnancy brings you into this sort of commune - you feel connected to women in a way that you never have. Not to mention the mother-baby bond that forms: He's moving around in there and no one else can tell - it's a little secret friendship."
