In her most recent TV ad in her campaign for Pennsylvania governor, U.S. Rep. Allyson Schwartz fully embraces Obamacare.

The one of four Democratic candidates shared her ad on MSNBC's "The Last Word" on Monday.

"I worked with President Obama on the Affordable Care Act and getting health coverage to all Americans," Schwartz says in the video. "It was my legislation that said insurance companies can no longer deny coverage for kids with pre-existing conditions. It's something I'm proud of because it also closed the gap in prescription drug coverage for seniors."

The ad, produced by Dixon/Davis Media Group, includes the direct speech from Schwartz as well photos of her and Obama together. It is set to run in the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh television markets.

Schwartz also criticizes current Gov. Tom Corbett, a conservative Republican, for blocking a federal Medicaid expansion that she promises to reverse because "500,000 Pennsylvanians need health coverage."

"It's simply wrong to have a governor who's refusing to use this tool to give Pennsylvania the health care that they need," Schwartz told host Ari Melber, filling in for Lawrence O'Donnell.

A Public Policy Polling survey included in the ad shows 59 percent of Pennsylvania residents support Medicaid expansion.

The Democratic primary is scheduled for May 20. Though she was initially considered the frontrunner, Revenue Secretary Tom Wolf -- who has spent millions on ads across the state -- recently passed her in the polls, POLITICO said. She also faces State Treasurer Rob McCord and former DEP Secretary Katie McGinty.

Though Obama's approval rating has dropped nationally within the last year, a survey conducted by Franklin & Marshall College in March showed two-thirds of primary voters hold a favorable opinion of him.

Mike Barley, a reelection campaign manager for Corbett, released a statement following Schwartz's ad release.

"Despite cancelled policies, skyrocketing premiums, lost doctors and jobs, Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz has turned her back on Pennsylvania for good," said Barley. "Congresswoman Schwartz has embraced an extreme liberal agenda in Washington, DC and the disastrous healthcare takeover she helped to write and force upon hardworking Pennsylvanians. Now Congresswoman Schwartz hopes to bring those failed budget-busting Obama policies to Harrisburg, proving just how out of touch she is with the people of Pennsylvania."
