A school bus crash near Wellington, Colorado left at least one adult and three kids injured on Friday morning, KKTV reported.

The crash occurred on Larimer County Roads 82 and 15 and involved a school bus and a sedan. Based off of footage from the scene, the bus appears to have somehow landed on top of the sedan.

According to KDRO-TV, the Colorado State Police said the driver of the car drove into the back of the school bus.

The driver of the sedan was airlifted to a hospital, KKTV said. State Trooper Josh Lewis told KDRO her injuries were life-threatening.

A total of nine people, including the driver, were on the bus en route to Wellington Middle School and Rice Elementary School in Wellington.

The driver and at least three children were hurt, though Lewis said they suffered minor to moderate injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
