Kolkata heads into the IPL season hoping the success of Robin Uthappa's run with Karnataka carries over.  Uthappa helped his domestic team win the Ranji Trophy, Irani Cup and Vijay Hazare Trophy, according to IB Times, and he's expected to be a major contributor for Kolkata.

"It is about putting runs at the right time and if you can contribute with the bat, then you always are in the reckoning," Uthappa told Gulf News, via IB Times.  "I'm very happy that I have been able to contribute to Karnataka.  And I'm not that old, I'm only 28.  The thing is I started at the Under-19 level and you guys have seen me for so long that you think I can't make it to the team."

The match will be played at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.  Weather.com forecasts a partly cloudy day with temperatures reaching as high as 96 degrees Fahrenheit; no precipitation is expected and winds could reach between 10 to 20 mph.
