San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, receiver Quinton Patton and Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette are reportedly under investigation sexual assault.  The alleged incident took place on April 1 in Miami, according to reports from the Sacramento Bee and TMZ.

The alleged victim appears to believe she may have been roofied, based on the police report obtained by Matt Barrows of The Bee.  The report also indicates she had a previous sexual relationship with Kaepernick and the two did not have sex on the night in question.

"According to the report, the incident occurred April 1 when a woman went to Lockette's apartment in Miami at 9 p.m.," Barrows wrote on Thursday.  "Kaepernick and Patton were there, and the woman made drinks and served shots to the players.  She was also told 'to drink the shots she had to "hit" the bong which contained marijuana,' the report said.

"The report continues to say that the woman felt light headed and went to a bedroom where she was later joined by Kaepernick, with whom she had a sexual relationship in the past.  The report says that Patton and Lockette peeked inside the bedroom and that the woman yelled at them to get out.

"According to the report, the woman does not remember anything about the night after that.  She woke up in a hospital bed the following morning not knowing how she got there."

She reported the incident to police on April 3.

TMZ, which initially broke the story, only named Kaepernick as being under investigation.  TMZ also reported the alleged incident occurred inside the Viceroy Hotel in Miami and the investigation is in its "beginning stages."

49ers general manager Trent Baalke acknowledged the team was aware of the allegation.

"The 49ers organization is aware of the recent media report regarding Colin Kaepernick and is in the process of gathering the pertinent facts," Baalke said in a statement, via Pro Football Talk.

Kaepernick, 26, hasn't yet commented on the allegations.

With his contract expiring in 2015, the 49ers and Kaepernick's representatives had been in talks about a possible contract extension.
