The remastered version of "The Last of Us" for the PlayStation 4 has gone live on Sony Entertainment Network's online store.

Sercan Sulun, PlayStation's Eurasian software market manager, accidentally revealed the remaster's release during an interview with CNN Türk in March.

"There is no information about a new The Last of Us game but I can share this knowledge; as of this summer, The Last of Us will be on the PS4. Both on PSN and physically," Sulun told CNN, according to a translation published by IGN. "The PS4 version will also include the DLC so you will be able to play 'Left Behind' as well."

Sony Entertainment Network's online store revealed a banner stating the game is available for pre-order for $59.99. However, when you click on the link it states the page cannot be found. The link may gone live prematurely, but Sony has yet to comment on the PS4 remaster.

"The Last of Us" follows the story of Ellie and Joel as they attempt to reach a Quarantine Zone that may hold the key to wiping out the zombie pandemic. According to Sony Entertainment Network, the title has won more than 200 game of the year awards. For those unfamiliar with the story, check out a snippet of Naughty dog's official synopsis for the title below:

"As they journey across a post-pandemic United States, Joel and Ellie will encounter different factions of survivors that have each found a unique way of dealing with the infected humans, the lack of supplies, and the threat of other survivors. As Joel and Ellie struggle to persevere, they must learn to trust each other and work together in order to survive the realities of this new world."

Sony has yet to release a launch date for "The Last of Us: Remastered" on their online store. You can check it out for yourself by clicking here.
