An automated hunting camera seems to have captured the ghostly outline of Bambi beneath a mysterious lighted object in the sky, a UFO sightings photo has revealed.

Having gone viral, the pictures and video seem to definitely have caught the fascination of UFO enthusiasts.

In a hunting area near the Cumbest Bluff of Jackson County, Miss., the trail camera snapped photos of several deer approaching the area on February 16, 2014, Inquisitr reported.

Around 7:20 p.m., "the video gets weirder because the deer are brightly lit up by what looks like a spotlight even though the trail camera uses infrared and does not need any lights to record," Inquisitr reported.

As the video goes on, the sky is seen to be taking a shape with headlights beaming out of nowhere at 7:56 p.m. Since there aren't any roads around, the possibility of the headlights belonging to a car doesn't seem authentic.

Rainer and Edith Shattles, who own the trail cameras, have been unable to explain the UFO-deer confrontation.

"They do admit that 'unusual things' happen around the area, but they laugh these prior events off as being explained by pranks by their grandchildren," Inquisitr reported. "In the case of the deer UFO sighting, they had only expected video of a 'nice buck' to show up and they know their grandkids don't have anything to do with the results."

Although Rainer doesn't believe the foreign object to be controlled by aliens, he does claim that the UFO-deer photo was definitely an unidentified flying object.

"Well, if it's alien, I'm not sure about that. But it's definitely a UFO. Now whether it's a government drone or what, I wish if nothing else, one of them would step up and say, 'Yes, that's ours.'"

He added, "It's a puzzle that may never be solved and it's one that's kind of fun, adds a little flavor to life, I guess you could say. We are just fascinated over it because of the fact that it was right here and it's real."
