Philadelphia Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson is reportedly staying put in Philly.  After a talk with coach Chip Kelly, Jackson told several teammates he isn't going anywhere, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Jackson's future with the Eagles appeared over, according to a myriad of reports.  Amidst the speculation, Jackson met with Kelly on Monday.  Jackson then reportedly called teammates the next day to dispel the trade rumors.

"In the latest twist of As DeSean Jackson Turns, the wide receiver called a few teammates on Tuesday morning to tell them he was staying with the Eagles a day after he spoke with coach Chip Kelly, a source close to the situation told The Inquirer," the newspaper's Jeff McLane wrote on Tuesday.

Jackson seemingly broke the good news himself on Monday night in a tweet.

"Good to talk to Big Chip today!!" Jackson tweeted.  "Say or hear what ya want!!  The picture speaks for itself!! Winner..."

The 27-year-old veteran became the subject of numerous rumors after Philadelphia re-signed receivers Jeremy Maclin and Riley Cooper in the offseason.  Multiple outlets, including The Inquirer and the Morning Call, reported Jackson as all but guaranteed to be wearing another uniform this season.

Jackson appeared to fall out of favor with the team because he wasn't a fit in the kind of culture Kelly wanted to create in the locker room, according to The Inquirer.

He's due $10 million this season in base salary and is coming off a career-best 1,332 receiving yards and his third Pro Bowl.
