According to reports, Maria Menounos is leaving "Extra," where she's been a co-host since 2011. Sources told the New York Post's Page Six that her contract was up and wouldn't be renewed.

Apparently, a feud with her co-host Mario Lopez had something to do with Menounos deciding to move on, the source said adding that the two "barely even speak to each other."

"Maria has become a big diva. Do we really need to see her in a bikini yet again?" the source said, referring to how she stripped down to a bikini after losing a Super Bowl bet.

A different source told the newspaper that it's not Menounos who has become the diva but Lopez.

"Maria's contract is up and she has decided to move on," the source said. "She is deciding between a number of other opportunities."

The 35-year-old TV personality has not mentioned leaving her co-hosting gig on Twitter. Besides reporting on the latest celebrity and entertainment news for the show, Menounos can also be seen on her new reality show, "Chasing Maria Menounos, which premiered Mar. 18 on Oxygen.

She is also the cover girl for Ladies' Home Journal where she dished on her 40-pouund weight loss and promoted her second book, "The EveryGirl's Guide to Diet & Fitness," which will be released on June 3.

Recently she appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and revealed what made her sign up for a reality show.

"We'd been approached a number of times over the years to do a reality show," she said. "I was apprehensive; I didn't see how, with everything else I'm doing, I could fit it in."

Ultimately, she decided to give it a shot when she realized it would force her to spend more time with her family. Menounos, and her longtime boyfriend Keven Undergaro, live with her parents but because of her hectic schedule she says she's hardly home.

"Doing the show would force me to see my family more," Menounos said. "Because I knew that's what the show would be about. Plus, I always wanted to share my family, because my parents are the sweetest people on the planet."
