Police arrested a man who allegedly posed as a podiatry student and licked a woman's toes at a Walmart in North Carolina.

Michael A. Brown was arrested in connection to an incident that occurred at a Walmart in Lincolnton, the New York Daily News reported.  Pretending to be a podiatry student, Brown convinced a woman to try on several pairs of shoes. He then took the woman's foot, placed it in his mouth and sucked on her toes.

"Twenty-one years of law enforcement and I've never seen anything like it!" Lincolnton Detective Dennis Harris told the Daily News. "I've heard of foot fetishes before but...nothing on this scale here."

Brown, who is a registered sex offender, is also suspected of attempting a similar act at another Walmart 15 miles away.

Surveillance cameras captured Brown walking into the Lincolnton Walmart at 11:15 a.m., police told the newspaper.

Brown told a female shopper he was studying to become a foot doctor and convinced her to go with him to the shoe department.

While the woman was inspecting a pair of shoes, the man allegedly "took the victim's foot, put it into this mouth and sucked the victim's toes," police told the Daily News.

"It upset her." Harris said. "Then he walks out of our Walmart, gets in his car and acts like nothing happened. That tells me this isn't the first time he's done this."

Brown allegedly approached another woman at a different Walmart earlier that day. He told her he needed to examine her feet for a survey he was doing, the newspaper reported. The woman escaped the situation before Brown could do anything.

"She started taking off her shoes, taking off her socks- then she said you're weird' and got up and left," Harris told the Daily News.

Brown has been charged with assault on a female for the Lincolnton incident.
