The highly anticipated fourth season of "Game of Thrones" has released its final trailer in honor of the premiere on Tuesday, March 18.

Cast, crew and fans gathers at the Barclays Center in New York City to view the first episode of the season four. Emilia Clarke, Jack Gleeson, Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Rose Leslie, Gwendoline Christie, Maisie Williams, and Sophie Turner all hit the red carpet, but refused to divulge any spoilers for the upcoming season. Showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss recently revealed to Entertainment Weekly the series will end after three or four more seasons.

"It feels like this is the midpoint for us," Benioff told EW. "If we're going to go seven seasons, which is the plan, season 4 is right down the middle, the pivot point."

"I would say it's the goal we've had from the beginning," he added. "It was our unstated goal, because to start on a show and say your goal is seven seasons is the height of lunacy. Once we got to the point where we felt like we're going to be able to tell this tale to its conclusion, that became [an even clearer] goal. Seven gods, seven kingdoms, seven seasons. It feels right to us."

However, "Game of Thrones" author George R.R. Martin is still in the process of completing the 6th and 7th novel in his series, and is adamant he will finish his books before HBO catches up to him.

"I can give them the broad strokes of what I intend to write, but the details aren't there yet. I'm hopeful that I can not let them catch up with me," Martin recently told Vanity Fair.
