Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater reportedly failed to impress scouts on Monday during his Pro Day.  His "average" Pro Day could affect his stock in the 2014 NFL draft, where some had expected him to be the second quarterback selected.

Bridgewater elected not to throw at the NFL Scouting Combine, which put more weight on his Pro Day performance.  Reviews from his Pro Day, however, ranged from "average at best" to "forgettable."

"Mike Mayock on Teddy Bridgewater at Louisville Pro Day: 'Most QBs have good Pro Days.  Today, I thought it was very average at best,'" Albert Breer of NFL.com tweeted on Monday.

Ryan Phillips of MidwestSportsFan.com called Bridgewater's Pro Day "forgettable" after the signal caller posted a 40-time of 4.78 and threw poorly.

"The reviews are in for Bridgewater, and they are decidedly unenthusiastic," Phillips wrote on Monday.  "... The passing portion of the workout was shockingly not impressive.  Bridgewater's throws wobbled and were not incredibly accurate.  He was decent on tosses fewer than 20 yards, but his deeper throws floated and did not show good zip.  When he tried to uncork long balls, they hung and died rather than zipping through to the target.

"Bridgewater got more comfortable as the workout progressed, but still didn't blow anyone away.  His execution on sideline patters also left a lot to be desired."

Bridgewater's poor outing is sure to affect his draft standing.  The latest mock drafts from ESPN's Mel Kiper and Todd McShay listed Bridgewater as the second quarterback drafted -- Kiper had Bridgewater as going No. 5 to Oakland, and McShay had him going No. 3 to Jacksonville.

The draft begins on Thursday, May 8.
