"Batman vs. Superman" is set to begin filming and with production getting closer comes more buzz around the DC project than ever before.

The DC production is facing stiff competition at the box office on May 6, 2016, and if every detail isn't on par with fans' expectations, the "Man of Steel" franchise may be in for a rough ride. Check out the list below for everything you need to know about the upcoming production.

1.  Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige doesn't care their untitled production will have to share a release date with "Batman vs. Superman."

"We're still on that date and we're going to be announcing soon what the movie will be on that date,"Feige told IGN. That's what we're sort of actively working on as we get ready to firm up and get into pre-production what will be the two films for '16 and the two films for '17."

2. The Batmobile might make an appearance during San Diego Comic Con 2014, according to Cassandra Salapatas-Metz, the studio's assistant director of transportation at Warner Bros.

"Well, I'm not at liberty to say. But I think you might have a point there. But I think - let's put it this way - it's been spoken of, so always possible. We're at the ready - us teamsters. We're ready to roll if need be," Salapatas-Metz revealed to a fan during the "Meet the Family Speaker Series" at the Warner Bros. Studio.

3. Costume designer gives insight to his design process, explain no detail was left untouched by his revamp.

"When you're designing superhero suits, it all comes down to the crotch. And if you're doing a female superhero, the bust," Michael Wilkinson told Esquire. "You have to present things in an appealing way but something that's not too confronting and has the right tone for the film. It's something where you have to use all of your costuming skills to find that balance."

4. The Batsuit, Wonder Woman and Superman costume reveal is rumored for April.

5. Director Zack Snyder doesn't care about casting backlash against Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck and Jesse Eisenberg.

"I'm not crazy," Snyder told Hero Complex. "I know what these characters need from a mythological standpoint. I think Jesse is going to be an amazing Lex. Let's not forget he was nominated for an Academy Award. It's not like I just grabbed my friend to play the guy! This guy's the real deal. By the way, in looking at all the talk-back, you can get all different perspectives in there too. Some people are hating to hate. Some people - someone did some fan art. And you look underneath and someone wrote, 'I guess I can see it.' Honestly, are you kidding me? Just stop it! It's reassuring and frustrating at the same time."
