A Japanese woman has spent over $100,000 on surgeries to look like a French doll and says she will continue undergoing surgeries until she achieves the desired look

It's not uncommon for women to undergo surgeries that enhance their looks and features. However, a Japanese model named Vanilla Chamu took beauty enhancement surgeries a step further. Reportedly, Chamu has already spent more than 10 million Yen, which roughly converts to more than $100,000, on surgeries alone. The model says she wants to look like a French doll and will continue undergoing beauty enhancement surgeries until she achieves the desired look.

Chamu underwent her first surgery because she wanted to look more European. At that time she was only 19. Since then, she has undergone 30 surgeries including rhinoplasty, double eyelid surgery, eyelash implants, dimple creation, liposuction and breast implants. The model has not revealed her real age now.

Chamu has become somewhat of a celebrity in her native land and has also launched a pop career of her own. Last month, Chamu appeared on Japanese variety show "Watashi no Nani ga Ikenai no?" (Loosely translated - Is there something wrong with me?). On the show she revealed why she wants to look like a doll. She revealed that she was teased about her looks when she was younger and was called "ugly." She decided she wanted to look like a French doll so that no one would call her ugly again.

"There isn't anyone who can look at a French doll and say it's not beautiful," Chamu said on the program. However, on the show, Chamu was introduced as a "cyborg" rather than a doll. She also said that she wants to become beautiful but she is particular about safety issues in her surgeries.
