An aspiring model and singer was arrested on Tuesday in connection to the death of a store clerk in Georgia, USA TODAY reported.

Skyy Raven Marie Mims, 21, was detained by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) in Cartersville. According to GBI spokeswoman Sherry Lang, Mims is accused of killing 36-year-old Dahyabhai Chaudhari, a clerk at Kanku's Express, on Sunday night in Dalton.

Police say robbery was a possible motive in the crime.

On Tuesday, customers from the store stopped by to express their grief over Chaudhari's death.

"This really hurt me," said Mike Bishop. "Because he was a nice man - every time I came up in there, he would say, 'Hey, Boss.'"

Chaudhari's body was discovered by a customer on Sunday evening. According to the owner of Kanku's Express, he was murdered while patrons were shopping -- suggesting that he was not killed by a gunshot wound. While authorities did not disclose his cause of death, WTVC-TV reported that Mims struck the clerk in the back of the neck.

The owner added that Mims got away with a few lottery tickets and some cash.

Mims is being held in jail without bond on murder charges, according to a release by the Whitfield County Sheriff's Office.
