Donald Trump will be back in a Manhattan courtroom on Tuesday as his hush money trial continues.

A banker who helped Trump's former attorney Michael Cohen open accounts is expected to resume testimony.

Gary Farro helped Cohen open an account used to buy the silence of porn performer Stormy Daniels. That payment is central to the prosecution's case against the former president.

On Tuesday morning, Judge Juan Merchan ruled that Trump had violated a gag order in the case and threatened him with jail time if he continues to violate it.

He also gave permission for Trump to attend his son Barron's high school graduation on May 17, the Associated Press reported.

Trump is charged with 34 felonies for allegedly falsifying business records to cover up the payments.

Daniels claims that she had an affair with Trump. He denies it happened.

Farro is the third prosecution witness in the case.

Former National Enquirer publisher David Pecker was the first witness. He was questioned about the tabloid's "catch-and-kill" methods where the rights to a story would be purchased and never published to protect Trump.

The other witness was Trump's longtime executive assistant, Rhona Graff. She talked about seeing Stormy Daniels at Trump Tower. She said Trump once said Daniels could be an "interesting" contestant on his reality TV show "Celebrity Apprentice."

Merchan is also expected to hear more arguments this week on whether Trump has again violated the gag order in connection with the case.
