A cat named Galena was found shipped in a box at an Amazon return center.

A cat survived a seven-day ordeal when it was accidentally shipped to an Amazon return center.

A Utah couple was returning boots to Amazon and didn't realized that their cat named Galena had slipped into the box.

She was sealed in it and shipped to an Amazon warehouse in California.

The family discovered their six-year-old cat missing and started a search for her, even putting up posters in their neighborhood.

But a week later Carrie Clark received a text that Galena's microchip had been scanned.

Soon after she got a call from a vet in California. The vet told Clark Galena was found in an Amazon box.

Amazon employee Brandy Hunter, who calls herself a "crazy cat lady," rescued the cat after it was found in the box in the California warehouse.

"We have gotten some crazy things in my time here but NEVER anything like this!" Hunter said in a Facebook post.

She took Galena to the vet the next day.

Carrie and Matt Clark flew to California for a reunion that was caught on camera.

Carrie's sister posted about Galena's accidental trip.

"Don't ever forget to microchip your pets and always check your Amazon boxes for mischievous cats!!" Cheryl Stevens Wilcox said in a Facebook post.

As for Galena, she only suffered mild dehydration during her week in the box.
