A porch pirate ruthlessly "ruined" a California bride's nuptials by stealing the $2000 wedding dress that was shipped to her home.

The suspect – captured on the victim's doorbell camera Thursday evening – stole the bridal gown and other packages from the woman's Redwood City, California, front porch, according to police.

"Thief steals wedding dress and ruins wedding plans! Can you ID?" Redwood City police captioned the footage on Facebook, asking the public for their help in nabbing the suspect.

The burglar, dressed in an all-black getup, accessorized with a gray scarf and white sneakers, appeared to have several packages in their hand before swiping the dress.

"That is just shameful!"' one commenter wrote, while another chimed, "I think I saw this guy in San Mateo on B street! Just now. Across from the San Mateo theater."

Anyone with information on the suspect or case is asked to contact the Redwood City Police Department at (650) 780-7100.
