Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, the Republican firebrand from Georgia, said she'll heckle President Joe Biden if he lies during the State of the Union address Thursday evening the same way she interrupted him last year.

"If he's a liar, he should be called out," Greene told CNN. "We'll see how he talks tonight and then I'll decide then."

Greene told the news outlet that she would be passing out buttons to honor Laken Riley, the 22-year-old nursing student from Georgia who was killed last month.

Jose Antonio Ibarra, 27, an undocumented migrant from Venezuela, has been accused of killing her.

Republicans have seized on Riley's slaying to criticize Biden on his handling of immigration policy and the crisis at the Southern Border.

"Is he going to come before Congress and lie to us and the American people about the state of our union? Or is he going to say Laken Riley's name? Because Laken Riley is the state of our union. And this is what Americans care about. We care about our border," Greene told CNN.

At last year's address, Greene and Rep. Lauren Bobert, a Republican from Colorado, badgered Biden during his speech when he talked about the military pullout from Afghanistan and the amounts of fentanyl coming across the border.

When Biden said Republicans wanted to cut Medicare and Social Security, Greene stood up to yell: "You lie! You lie! Liar."

The president responded by suggesting the GOP appeared to reach a consensus with him and other Democrats to preserve the social programs.

"As we all apparently agree, social security and Medicare are apparently off the books now. We've got unanimity," he retorted.
