Donald Trump is now going viral on his social media platform, Truth Social, after claiming that people told him he looks like Elvis Presley.

This is not surprising for the former U.S. president since he is known to be a fan of Elvis Presley. In 2018, he included the iconic American singer and actor as one of his seven recipients at his first Medal of Freedom ceremony.

He said that Elvis Aaron Presley is the "true king of rock & roll." Donald Trump also shared that he attended one of Elvis's concerts.

On Sunday, Feb. 4, Donald Trump posted on Truth Social to ask if people agree that he looks like Elvis Presley. As of writing, his post already generated over 7,000 likes and 2,000 ReTruths.

He included an edited picture in which his and Elvis's photos were placed against each other for better comparison.

"For so many years people have been saying that Elvis and I look alike," said the former American leader.

"Now this pic has been going all over the place. What do you think?" he added.

In the comment section, many Americans agreed that the former POTUS has resemblances with the king of rock & roll when it comes to facial features.

Meanwhile, some of his die-hard fans were just saying Donald Trump is a priceless leader that the United States needs. They promised that they would vote for him in the upcoming U.S. presidential election.

On the other hand, many U.S. citizens ridiculed Donald Trump, saying that they don't see anything about him that's similar to Elvis Presley.

"Not seeing it, you fat f*ck," said a Truth Social user in the comment section.

"I can't believe you put this out there, you are so self absorbed, you can't see beyond your own nose, how can you run a country if you don't love anyone or anything but yourself, you rapist, pig!" another netizen said.

Not the First Time for Donald Trump

This is not the first time that Donald Trump compared himself to Elvis Presley. In 2018, the former POTUS said that people used to tell him he bore a resemblance to Elvis, as reported by People.

Trump explained that he doesn't want to claim that he looks like Elvis Presley since he's not that conceited.

But, aside from having blonde hair, many people told him that he was a lookalike of an American artist when he was growing up.

Some Americans may agree, while others would disagree with the former U.S. president. But, one thing is for sure. Donald Trump is really a fan of Elvis.
