Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted sex trafficker and disgraced British socialite, is said to be writing a memoir while serving her sentence at FCI Tallahassee in Florida.

An individual, aged 62, currently serving a 20-year sentence, seeks to address what she perceives as 'misinformation' regarding her connection to the deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein, as per The Sun.

NEW YORK, NY - SEPTEMBER 20: Ghislaine Maxwell attends day 1 of the 4th Annual WIE Symposium at Center 548 on September 20, 2013 in New York City.

Exclusive information has been obtained by DailyMail.com regarding Maxwell's plans to release the book, which comes at a time of increasing controversy and public interest. Maxwell has purportedly encouraged fellow inmates to dismiss recent court documents that shed light on Epstein's associates and provide new insights into his dark grooming empire. A source revealed, "Max says the documents in the news are all false or misinformation. The truth will only come out when her book does."

Despite her claims of revealing 'the truth,' insiders caution against expecting a genuine confession, asserting that Maxwell's primary motive is to exonerate herself and assert her innocence. The source added, "She really thinks she hasn't done anything wrong and that her charges will be dropped when people read it."

Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted in 2021 on charges of sex trafficking minors and conspiracy, involving the recruitment of girls as young as 14 into Epstein's circle. While she maintained her innocence during a self-serving prison interview last year, recent court documents related to a defamation case filed by Virginia Giuffre, a Prince Andrew accuser, contradict Maxwell's claims.

The trove of documents, unsealed by a New York judge, implicated numerous individuals, including Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson, Donald Trump, and Stephen Hawking, as associates or friends of Epstein. However, testimonies from victims and former Epstein aides consistently asserted Maxwell's central role in the underage sex ring, aligning with the conclusions reached by jurors in her New York trial, according to Daily Mail.

Ghislaine Maxwell's Prison Manuscript

Despite federal inmates being prohibited from engaging in publishing deals, Maxwell is reportedly exploiting her access to a typewriter to work on a 'private manuscript,' protected by the First Amendment. Her lack of access to a computer has not hindered her progress, and she has taken precautions to secure her work, moving it between lockers in the prison's legal area.

Sources close to Maxwell describe her current state as increasingly withdrawn and bitter. She has abandoned previous activities like hosting classes for fellow inmates and participating in outdoor activities, indicating a notable change in her demeanor. The source revealed, "Max is just not the same, upbeat person she was a year ago. She's lost all confidence, she just mopes around depressed all day."

The disgraced socialite's attempts to influence public opinion have extended beyond her memoir. Maxwell faced controversy for using the prison's video visit system to give an interview to UK broadcaster Jeremy Kyle, where she baselessly claimed a photograph of Prince Andrew and Giuffre was fake. This incident resulted in her spending 48 hours in the Special Housing Unit.

Maxwell's reputation within the prison has further declined due to her numerous complaints, earning her the moniker 'Prison Karen.' From criticizing the vegan menu to reporting on noisy neighbors, her behavior has contributed to a strained relationship with fellow inmates.

As Maxwell awaits the right moment to publish her memoir, she faces the reality of serving the majority of her sentence in FCI Tallahassee. Despite her hopes for exoneration, the public remains skeptical of her claims, given the mounting evidence against her in the ongoing fallout from Epstein's crimes, Metro reported.
