American Airlines Passenger Removed From Flight After Excessive Farting—Here's the Full Story

An American Airlines passenger was removed from his flight due to excessive farting. For some people, this could be a very funny moment for them, but it could be traumatizing for others.

The incident was shared by a Reddit user who was also aboard the AA flight from Phoenix, Arizona, to Austin, Texas. He said that his memorable experience happened on Jan. 14.

As of writing, his Reddit post already generated over 1,000 upvotes. Many netizens shared their opinion regarding the incident; some are asking what happened to the man, while others are giving him names, such as the "fart man."

According to the Independent UK's latest report, the American Airlines flight was allegedly delayed because of a disgruntled traveler who excessively farted.

What the man did created a commotion among other passengers who were disrespected by his farting. Many travelers said that what the passenger did was "so low class."

Others stated that the real rude person was the man who loudly passed gas. Because of the scuffle, the American Airlines plane, which was already out of the gate and moving towards the runway, was delayed.

AA staff had to stop and return to the gate because of the issue; the airplane crew members had to get involved just to solve the conflict between the farting man and other passengers.

Luckily, American Airlines was able to handle the issue swiftly, leading only to 15-30 minutes of delays. As of press time, it is still unclear why the man did it.

Some passengers believe that the farting passenger had a hangover. But, this wasn't confirmed by American Airlines.

The Reddit user who shared the full story of the farting AA passenger said that he was seated near the row where the disgruntled traveler was located at.

"I observed that this man was audibly disgruntled about something, maybe hungover, rough day idk, but as soon as he sat down he was grumbling about something under his breath, like 'f*cking h*ll' or something," said the AA passenger via his official Reddit post.

Suddenly, the man loudly said "You thought that was rude? Well how about this smell." The passenger explained that something might have triggered the farting man to say this and do what he did.

After that, the rude guy continued his unethical remarks, saying that everybody should enjoy the "smelliest food" all at the same time.

This is when the farting man and the other passengers started exchanging words. Luckily, flight attendants and other crew members were nearby to remove the farting man from the flight.

"We all breathed a sigh of relief when he was removed, I think most ppl were on edge about what he may say or do next. The trip was only delayed by 15-30 minutes, so all in all I think American handled it swiftly," said the Reddit user.
