Tom Cruise attends the "Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One" New York Premiere at Rose Theater, Jazz at Lincoln Center on July 10, 2023 in New York City.

This partnership marks a significant step in their shared vision. Additionally, Tom Cruise and his production agency are slated to establish their operations in Burbank at the Warner Bros Discovery lot.

In the press release, De Luca and Abdy said "We are thrilled to be working with Tom, an absolute legend in the film industry. Our vision, from day one, has been to rebuild this iconic studio to the heights of its glory days, and, in fact, when we first sat down with David Zaslav to talk about joining the Warner Bros. Discovery team, he said to us, 'We are on a mission to bring Warner Bros. back - we have the best resources, storytelling IP, and talent in the business - and we need to bring Tom Cruise back to Warner Bros!' Today, that becomes a reality and we are one step closer to achieving our ambition. We couldn't be more excited to welcome Tom back to Warner Bros. and look forward to bringing more of his genius to life on screen in the years ahead"

How Does Cruise Feel?

Cruise himself also shared his excitement in the press release stating "I have great respect and admiration for David, Pam, Mike, and the entire team at Warner Bros. Discovery and their commitment to movies, movie fans, and the theatrical experience. I look forward to making great movies together!"

Cruise has worked with Warner Bros on multiple projects from Top Gun, Edge Of Tomorrow, and of course the popular Mission Impossible franchise. If this deal is proof of anything it shows that the film industry is making quite the comeback since the devastating blow from the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the recent writers' strike not too long ago. Keep your eyes open for the films from the two Hollywood giants as we march forward into the new year.
