South Korean automobile Hyundai has announced its plans to integrate sustainability in all its businesses, especially in construction, at CES 2024.

Speaking to attendees, Hyundai Vice Chairman and CEO Chung Kisun called its sustainability program "Xite Transformation," which was aimed at transforming how infrastructures and the future of the construction industry are built through technology from various industries.

Building Sustainable Infrastructure through AI

Chung went on to say that its approach to building infrastructures would have three components - safety, productivity, and sustainability. He further indicated that the initiative would be assisted by X-Wise, Hyundai's own artificial intelligence platform.

Hyundai mentioned that its products and services would be available to the public by 2025.

The company previously underwent another media conference on Tuesday (Jan. 9), where it laid out its other initiatives in fostering human-centered innovations beyond mobility.
