South Korean rapper G-Dragon (real name Kwon Ji-yong) was spotted heading to the United States as he is expected to attend the upcoming CES 2024.

The celebrity appeared at the airport after he was cleared of drug allegations. These accusations were stated when an inquiry into the BigBang boy band rapper's alleged use of illegal drugs.

All the charges against him were dropped after he tested negative in all the narcotics tests he went through. Aside from this, there was no strong evidence proving that he was using drugs.

Being cleared from all drug allegations comes at the best time since the G-Dragon is quite busy this year as he is about to attend the CES 2024.

G-Dragon To Attend CES 2024 

According to ALLKPOP's latest report, the BigBang rapper was barred from leaving South Korea during the drug investigation against him. Now that he's cleared, he can continue his travels. And this is what the celebrity is doing.

On Friday, Jan. 5, G-Dragon was seen departing for Los Angeles, as local news site Nate reported. People who saw him said the South Korean superstar wore a long beige coat, black sunglasses, a red hat, and a mask.

Those who recognized the K-pop celebrity greeted him with a smile. His appearance at the airport is the first time he went in public after facing drug allegations.

His latest appearance is a strong sign that he will attend the CES 2024 event in Los Angeles. For those unfamiliar with the Consumer Electronics Show, it is the world's largest consumer electronics and IT exhibition.

According to The Verge, the CES 2024 will kick off on Jan. 9 and run until Jan. 12.

G-Dragon's schedule for 2024 is pretty hectic. On Tuesday, Jan. 2, the South Korean rapper met with other superstars. These include Lee Min-ho, Jung Woo-sung, and Lee Jung-jae.

They joined forces to commemorate G-Dragon for proving that he was innocent and that drug allegations against him were all false. The superstars even dubbed their event as an "Innocent Until Proven Guilty" party.

Aside from attending the CES 2024 and having a victory party, G-Dragon also launched his anti-drug foundation called "JUSEACE." G-Dragon, together with his new agency, Galaxy Corporation, made efforts to establish the new non-profit organization.

The South Korean rapper even donated $231,000 to the JUSEACE foundation. The name of his new anti-drug foundation came from the words "justice" and "love," with the slogan "Guard the Peace & Love of Justice / Justice of Love."
