As reported by the Associated Press, Kennedy's campaign spokesperson, Stefanie Spear spoke on the development, revealing that "Utah is the first state where Kennedy's campaign submitted signatures and qualified for ballot access". Spear did not specify the day on which Kennedy would submit his candidacy.

Kennedy as a candidate gained significant notoriety during the COVID-19 epidemic as he adopted various conspiracy theories that cooked up doubts surrounding the COVID-19 vaccination. He even has a published book, which would become a New York Times best-seller, titled "The Real Anthony Fauci".

Another article from the Associated Press discussed how some of Kennedy's supporters had "bought multiple copies to drive sales ". Conversely, despite this Kennedy's book was successful in securing the title of being a bestseller with the book's Amazon page also touting "Over 1,000,000 copies sold despite censorship, boycotts from bookstores and libraries, and hit pieces against the author."

On the matter of censorship, one of Kennedy's videos on YouTube was removed from the platform for breaking vaccine policy. In addition to this Kennedy's organization titled "Children's Health Defense" has a pending lawsuit filed against various news outlets including the Associated Press, "Accusing them of violating antitrust laws by taking action to identify misinformation, including about COVID-19 and COVID-19 vaccinations.

What's Next For Kennedy?

His recent victory in being able to appear on the 2024 presidential election ballot has great potential, even if it's only one state, to cause a big shake-up in the upcoming election as independent candidates have the potential to pull voters away from the two major parties.

It also does not help that many voters today may not be particularly enthusiastic about either Biden or Trump. Given the escalating political polarization in America, the circumstances seem to present fertile ground for a centrist figure like Kennedy to rise up and potentially seize the presidency.
