On Wednesday, A$AP Rocky faced criminal charges and attended a high-profile preliminary hearing in a DTLA courthouse without Rihanna by his side.

The couple stepped out in front of cameras twice this week but were not together in the photos and, currently, not in the same part of town.

A$AP Rocky Faces Criminal Charges in Court Without Rihanna

In 2021, one of Rocky's former A$AP Mob members and friend, Relli, allegedly pointed a semi-automatic handgun. He took the stand and testified that Rocky had shot him due to a heated discussion in Hollywood, California.

He also claimed that Rocky threatened to kill him before allegedly pulling the trigger. Rocky was charged with two counts of assault when the video of him walking toward Relli and shoving him was released.

The footage showed the group of men get into an argument on the corner of Selma Avenue and Vista Del Mar Avenue in Hollywood before ending with one member of the group running away as the two other men fled on foot after the gun was allegedly fired.

Relli requested more than $25,000 in general damages, additional money to cover his medical bills, and an unspecified amount of punitive damages in civil court.

Joe Tacopina, Rocky's attorney, criticized Relli and waited for Rocky to be back in court later this month to check whether the trial would be a full-blown jury trial.

On Thursday night, the couple were spotted separately in Los Angeles after Rocky's appearance in court for assault, battery, and emotional distress charges.

Rihanna was seen at San Vicente Bungalows in West Hollywood, chatting with some of her great friends in the town, unaccompanied by Rocky. Rihanna went for a night out in a gray hoodie, gray jeans with a design, and a long camel coat.

Rocky was also spotted alone, walking down the street wearing a gray button-up shirt, matching gray jeans, and a denim jacket.

Rihanna, A$AP Rocky Separation Rumors

On Saturday, the pair were seen stepping out again separately but looked more bright than Thursday night. Rocky and Rihanna dressed well, but only Rocky posed for the camera and said he was strolling around to record a late-night studio session in WeHo.

Rihanna was on the opposite side of Tinseltown and hit her favorite restaurant, Giorgio Baldi, in Santa Monica. She did not look happy, displaying her sunglasses and a serious mug.

After Rocky's trial, he seemed in a good mood when he left the building and even initiated to sign photographs. While Rihanna looked so gloomy, walking around the town as seen in her recent pictures.

The couple have also recently announced their child together three months after their baby was born. The couple said they were doing great in their new role as parents.

The couple usually establishes a united front for everyone, but there appears to be some distance.
