The new "Inside Out 2" trailer is trending on Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and other social media platforms because of a new character; Anxiety.
Many fans shared their excitement after learning about the arrival of Anxiety in the movie; some of them said that Pixar finally provided a visual representation of what's bothering everyone ever since the pandemic started.

'Inside Out 2' Trailer Excites Fans as New Emotion Anxiety Arrives
ET Online reported that the new "Inside Out 2" will soon hit cinemas. To give fans an idea, Disney and Pixar decided to release the first teaser on Thursday, Nov. 9, for the new film.
"Things are getting messy," said Pixar via its official YouTube trailer for "Inside Out 2," which already garnered over 1 million views.
"According to director Kelsey Mann, the new character promises to stir things up within headquarters," explained Pixar.
Anxiety is voiced by 25-year-old American singer/actress Maya Hawke (Maya Ray Thurman Hawke). Kelsey Mann said that although Maya is still new to the "Inside Out" film, she's not the type to take a back seat.
Aside from Anxiety, there could also be other new characters who will arrive since Maya Hawke's character said "We wanted to make such a good first impression."
Although the trailer didn't show who the characters were going to be, a poster provided some hints. Based on the official "Inside Out 2" trailer, the original characters—Joy, Disgust, Anger, Sadness, and Fear—are all standing on a platform, seemingly preventing the four new characters below.
Of course, Anxiety (color orange) is already noticeable in the middle on the right. But, besides Anxiety is a familiar face. Many fans speculated that it could be Bing Bong; Riley's imaginary friend who vanished in the first movie.
As of writing, Pixar and Disney haven't confirmed if it's really Bing Bong or just a new character who looks like him. You can click this link to see the actual movie poster.
What Netizens Say About 'Inside Out 2'
Screen Rant reported that fans are already preparing for "maximum cry" once "Inside Out 2" is released, which is expected to happen in the summer of 2024.
Many of them are excited about how the movie will portray Riley as a teenage girl. Meanwhile, others can't wait because Pixar will finally show Anxiety, which is one of the things that has been bothering people's heads for years.
"As someone who LOVED the first movie, I'm really excited for this. I think the adding 4 new emotions because Riley's a teenager now is a great choice," said another fan.
