After four years of marriage, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas broke their silence about their divorce on October 8, 2023, on Instagram.

Sophie Turner also posted a photo wearing a friendship bracelet named 'Fearless,' which shows a reunion with Taylor Swift reminiscing 'The Eras Tour' in 2008. 

Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas Split After Four Years

The former couple, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas, released a joint statement of their divorce on Instagram after Jonas filed for divorce on September 5, 2023.

"After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why, but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children," the two said.

Turner and Jonas had two kids, a Willa, 3, and a 14-month-old baby girl documented in the court as Jonas filed the changes during their prenuptial agreement in the court in 2019 when they got married, according to E!News.

After their split, Joe Jonas wanted to compromise with Turner to a co-parenting agreement. According to Hello! Magazine, Turner filed a lawsuit against his ex-husband, asking for her daughters, Willa and Delphine, to return home to England.

Jonas was accused of withholding the passport of their daughters. He said they can provide for their children if it is questioned during filing and battling for custody.

"It is in the best interests of the minor children that the parties have shared parental responsibility," Jonas added.

Their two kids have been staying in Jonas' home in Miami and other locations throughout the United States while he is on tour. Turner and Jonas filed for an interim consent order in New York City to demand the restriction of relocation of the children.

The pair will have a Manhattan court hearing on January 2, 2024. Turner and Jonas married in 2019 and had their first daughter in 2020. After four years of marriage and two kids, their failed marriage shocked the public, and they filed for a divorce.

Sophie Turner Reunites With Taylor Swift

Meanwhile, Sophie Turner and Taylor Swift reunited at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey to watch the New York Jets game against the Kansas City Chiefs with other celebrity friends, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman.

Furthermore, the night before, Turner and Swift had a group dinner with their celebrity friends in New York City. 

Turner and Swift had a night out with cocktails to relieve the stress and pressure of the former couple's divorce.
