Elon Musk's much-awaited Tesla Cybertruck electric vehicle (EV) recently showed up with an interesting disguise. It flaunts a wrap that looks a lot like its rival -- the Ford F-150.

Tesla co-founder and CEO Elon Musk verbally reacts in front of the newly unveiled all-electric battery-powered Tesla Cybertruck with broken glass on windows following a demonstation that did not go as planned on November 21, 2019 at Tesla Design Center in Hawthorne, California.

The internet is buzzing with excitement as the Tesla Cybertruck has been spotted yet again, and guess what? It is now masquerading as a Ford F-150.

According to a report by Electrek, the elusive Cybertruck all-electric pickup is masquerading as its rival, none other than the Ford F-150. The news outlet notes that the Musk-led automaker has been dishing out several prototypes of the electric truck these days, hitting California roads with wraps.

But this time, the giant EV maker got a little creative with its Cybertruck wrap. A Twitter user who goes by the name Greggertruck posted a photo of the Tesla disguised as a Ford. In his recent tweet, he says, "I am... Confused. But enjoy this shot," noting that the Tesla big boss is on troll level 69420.

The photo shows the Cybertruck with its hood up, rocking a wrap that makes it resemble a Ford ICE F-150.

Electrek notes in its report that Msuk previously took a swipe at the current pickup offering in the market, including the iconic Ford F-150. He believes these existing lineups look boring, stressing that truck designs have remained the same in the last three decades.

On the other hand, the Cybertruck follows an unconventional look. I flaunt a geometric trapezoid look, which instantly leaves a futuristic vibe.

What's Under the Cybertruck Hood?

Visitors wearing face coverings view the Telsa Cybertruck at the recently reopened Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, California, July 1, 2020.

The recent photo of the Cybertruck not only showcases the ingenious disguise. It also gives the public a peak of what is beneath the hood of the long-delayed pickup truck.

Based on the leaked photo of the Tesla pickup, some might assume that the upcoming all-electric truck skips on the frunk, which EVs typically offer. Instead, there seems to be some mechanism installed under the hood.

Despite that, Elektrec reports that there is a possibility that Tesla has yet to place the liner, which should hide all the exposed mechanisms, making it a proper frunk.

As per Business Insider, the giant American automaker Ford recently updated the pricing of its F-150 Lightning. The all-electric truck is now roughly $10,000 cheaper. It now starts at less than $50,000 or $49,995, to be precise, whereas the top-of-the-line variant retails for $91,995, down by about $6,000 from $98,074.

The lower prices come as the Tesla Cybertruck is just right around the corner. However, Ford attributes the more affordable pricing to its plant upgrades.
