Oklahoma City Thunder's Kevin Durant fired back after a Houston Rockets rookie talked trash on Twitter.

Reporters asked Durant during a shoot around on Friday about the comments made by the Rockets rookie, Royce White.

"Who's he?" Durant said, according to NewsOK. "I haven't seen him on the bench. He hasn't played against us so I'm not worried about guys that's not even in our series.

"Ain't that the guy that can't, that's afraid to fly?  I wish him the best.  If I see him next year, I'll let him know who we are."

White is a 22-year-old forward out of Iowa State, selected 16th overall by Houston in the 2012 NBA draft. The rookie lives with an anxiety disorder that inhibits him from flying. White's fear of planes kept him away from the Rocket's bench and in the NBA D-League for most of the season; he hasn't logged any playing time for the Rockets.

Durant said White's trash talking isn't bulletin board material for the Thunder.

"I don't get fired up off stuff," Durant said. "I get fired up just by playing this game and enjoying the game.  But like I said, I wish him the best.  I wish he could have played.  I wish he could have really felt this intensity in a playoff game.  But I guess watching on TV is better."

Ouch.

White sparked Durant's ire by first tweeting, "@KDTrey5... Ya'll are looking SHAAAKYY BAAABYY."

Durant didn't respond to the tweet until asked about it on Friday by reporters.

The exchange of trash talk looks over, however, after White took to Twitter again on Thursday:

Oklahoma City can win the series against Houston with a win on Friday. Tipoff is at 9:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
